Grounding & Abundance Meditation

As we begin to come down from the high of the Capricorn Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse, many of us are processing the downloads, messages, insights and gifts we have received. We are being called to release authority, rules, traditions that no longer work for us. However, this call may summon fear and anxiety about our needs being met. We may have questions such as: What if we don’t go back to normal? What if I don’t go back to work or my child does not go back to school? What will society look like if we tear all of these structures and systems down? How will we live? How will our needs be met?  If we abolish the police, how will we be safe?

I offer this meditation as an invitation to re-member who we are, to re-member the wisdom and power we possess in our bodies, and the abundance of this earth. There are no answers. Only us.

This meditation has three components: sound, breath, and mantra. If you are new to meditation, you may want to start with the first section, which focuses on sound and breath. There’s no pressure to listen to the entire meditation in one sitting; you can come back to the sections that resonate for you or build up your meditation practice over time.

Some instructions to guide you through this meditation:

Sound:

-This meditation features the relaxing sounds of the forest. As you listen, try to take yourself back to a moment of relaxation, peace, safety or joy you experienced in nature. Or you can allow the sounds to serve as “white noise” to support you as you tune in to your body, your breathing or your higher consciousness.

Breathwork:

-Equal breathing: Inhale for 4 counts, Exhale for 4 counts

-Abdominal breaths: When you inhale, fill your abdomen with air. If your belly is full before the 4 count, breathe into your chest.

Prayer/Mantra:

I am here

I am now

I am whole

I am complete

I have all the things/everything I need

I am surrounded by love

I am full of love

Love is all around me and in all things

With love,
