This New Moon wants you to dream big, to plant a seed so far out of the box, it will be ahead of it’s time. Set an intention that you have had in mind for some time, but were too afraid to make. Aries is the sign of courage – now is the time. This isn’t a message to stuff down or to try to push through fear; courage is not about moving without fear, but summoning the power to move with fear. This new moon is a partial solar eclipse -there is a portal open between the past, present and future. This solar eclipse is an opportunity to move out of patterns of stuckness and project yourself into a future more wonderful than your grandest dreams. This solar eclipse invites you to listen to the fear: what does it have to tell you about who you are and the nature of your dreams? Does it know that you are brave?
This new moon in sidereal Aries wants us to know that in order to accomplish something new, you will have to do what you’ve never done before. The old way must be laid to rest. This new moon is in harmony with Mars in sidereal Aquarius, providing a pathway for you to assert your individuality and uniqueness, to “do you” differently. The new moon is also conjunct Uranus – which brings . unexpected and possibly chaotic change, but also can bring flashes of genius and brilliance. Expect the unexpected, this new beginning is so brilliant that you can’t yet see it with your eyes. This vision is not yours per se, but it comes through you. Let the vision use you as a vessel, let the glimpses of the future inspire and motivate you. This energy gives you the power to invent new ideas and to make it work. Watch our for doing too much overexerting, over- extending yourself. Uranus in the fiery sign of Aries + Mars can bring accidents and injuries due to misuse of energy.
Jupiter, Neptune and Venus together in sidereal Pisces provide a dreamy context to this fiery new moon. This is not change for change sake, this is the change required to manifest your dreams. This new moon brings the ephemeral into reality, with its sextile to Pluto in Capricorn (now stationing retrograde). The dreams that have been suppressed, buried, or hidden and now being born, ready to be molded, shaped and nurtured so that they can grow.

Saturn in sidereal Aquarius squares Mercury in Taurus, providing the necessary tension that change requires. We often bemoan conflict and tension, but fail to realize that conflict often provides the necessary fuel to clarify who you are, what you want and how you want it. This new moon comes with tension between the structure and rules that control our current reality (and the structures that uphold it) and the messages we are receiving or giving about what we want to create. This new moon offers a bridge between your lower and higher self, the path you must travel to evolve and grow. The future is still an abstract concept, an image in your mind. This new moon requires that you separate yourself from the pack and lead, separate yourself from the past so that you can blaze a path forward into the future. You don’t have to be the first to have the dream, you can be the first to act on the dream, the first to build the dream and the first to expand the dream.
You are the greatest rebellion, the sweet revolution. If we are our ancestors’ wildest dreams, this new moon is the time to set an intention, to make a plan to make that dream real. Which of your ancestor’s dreams will you realize?
