This month’s full moon occurs in sidereal Scorpio, the sign of emotional protection, release & transformation. Expect BIG emotions, BIG releases and BIG endings. The moon in Scorpio is not afraid of intensity; it seeks it out and flourishes in it. While this energy can trigger intense emotional displays, the Scorpio moon wants to digs deeper and get to the core to expose the truth – no matter how ugly. With this full moon we are being pulled down beneath the surface of this world into the abyss, where there is only darkness, where all of the bones are buried. In the darkness of these intense waters, we can see the truth. This Scorpio full moon eclipse shows us the truth of our past – who we feel we have had to be to survive, to protect ourselves, to survive the darkness.

This eclipse longs to show you who you could be. The Sun is conjunct the North Node & Uranus in Taurus, indicating that the way forward into the future is through creative resourcefulness and revolutionary practicality. If the masters tools will never dismantle the masters house, we must be innovative and create new tools – perhaps those tools can accomplish what was previously impossible. We must build a new house – and render the master’s house obsolete.

Venus, Jupiter and Neptune are together in Pisces, the sign of universal love and sacrifice, working in harmony with the Scorpio moon. The Scorpio moon dares us to let it go so that we can feel with new sensitivity and expand awareness of the ways in which we are all connected. We may feel more creative, imaginative and attuned to the spiritual world – providing just the right fuel to tune into the frequency of the future, and get clear on your role in it.

Mars will move into sidereal Pisces this week, joining the love fest, but Mars isn’t well placed in Pisces; the watery current of Pisces disssolves Mars’ aggression & power. This isn’t a time to expect your actions to have the immediate tangible results you desire, because you may get something altogether different – but you may receive the benefits down the line. This Moon- Mars connection can make us more energetic and provide us with the will power to use our emotions constructively. If you are operating from the heart and not the ego, this can be a time in which your outer self is in alignment with your inner needs- bringing wisdom & success.

Saturn square the full moon in Scorpio demands that we abandon behaviors rooted in selfishness, possessiveness, stinginess, pettiness and control. Saturn wants to equip and prepare us for the future and these childish ways won’t do. There are those who resist discipline, who feel impervious to the limits of human power and the rules of nature. In those hands, this energy can also be destructive, with some attempting to take the law into their own hands out of obsession with a big lie – that love and abundance is not available to us all. This energy can summon the worst of us, raise demons that we thought were long put to rest. This energy brings our self deception and delusion into the light. Truth is the only way forward- we cannot hide from this reality any more. It must be dealt with. Saturn will be indifferent to cries for mercy after the harm has been done.

This full moon lunar eclipse wants you to cut the bullshit and just BE – remove the excess and set boundaries around the extra “stuff,” the fake people, the clutter, the drama, the antics, the mental chatter, the gossip, just for a few moments. Close your eyes, step into the darkness and BE. Can you face your own shadow? Can you see your own light and how it radiates out into your world? Take a deep breath. Just be.
