This astrology of this week centers around the energetic shift from sidereal Aries to Taurus. Aries energy is fast and impulsive, Taurus is slow and methodical. Aries wants to start something, Taurus wants to make it last. Jupiter moved into sidereal Taurus on May 1, bringing expansion of material resources, comfort and luxury – especially through travel, advanced knowledge and the law. With the Sun entering Taurus and joining Jupiter this week, our awareness and conscious energy is focused on what we have/possess, particularly things that have value. For many of us, Taurus represents money because we live in a capitalist society, with cash ruling everything around us. For others though, Taurus season can bring a focus on other important matters – such as work, family or friends. This aspect indicates the ability to adapt to the changes no matter how tumultuous, using what you have and making the best of it.
